Analysis of Objective Metrics for Pixel-level Image Optimal Fusion
Article Abstract: The evaluation indices of pixel-level image fusion include lots of metrics,and image optimal fusion depends on the selection of metrics.The objective evaluation indices are analyzed.The new mutual information is designed to avoid the information overlapped.According to the index correlativity and selection principle the indices are analyzed and selected,and a fairly sound metrics of image fusion is built.Experiments show that the method is feasible and effective.
