Data Platform for Contemporary Integrated Manufacturing Systems of Process Industry Based on A Knowledge Discovery Approach

Article Abstract: Three-layer architecture of BPS/MES/PCS is adopted in contemporary integrated manufacturing systems（CIMS） of process industry.In this paper,structure limitations of the existing three-layer CIMS are specified and a novel data platform based on data mining and data storage technology is presented for the CIMS systems.By managing evident knowledge of enterprise and discovering the crytic knowledge in production and management activities,a uniform data platform is designed by applying knowledge dicovery technology.The results show that the proposed process industry integrated automation system is of a perfect structure in information collection and knowledge sharing.
