Bi-cubic Interpolation Algorithm Based on Contourlet Transformation



In order to preserve the information of source remote sensing image, improve its spacial resolution and make it appropriate for people to observe, this paper proposes the Contourlet bi-cubic interpolation algorithm. It uses bi-cubic interpolation to do similar transformation, and obtains interpolation image with higher resolution ratio than the original image by inverse transformation. Experimental results show that the algorithm can get higher PSNR and better image detail effect than the bi-cubic interpolation and wavelet bi-cubic interpolation.
