Mechanical Design and Research of Trailing Edge Flap for Civil Aircraft



Article Abstract: TThis paper describ the civil aircraft high lift devices of trailing edge flap mechanisms, and comparison of several common forms of mechanism. The motion of link/track mechanism is very favorable for Fowler motion at lower takeoff flap angles and requires very low actuation power. The link/track flap mechanism has the low overturning moment from the flap loads. The mathematical model, is,establish based on the link/track flap mechanism and theory of the mechanism. The simulation software is programmed by C++. The relationship between the flap deflection angle and Fowler motion, gap is computed by simulation software. And the relationship between the drive angle and flap deflection angle, fowler motion, gap is computed too. The compute results in line with the fact.
