IMPROVEMENT OF EAP-AKA PROTOCOL SIGNALLING FOR 3G-WLAN
Article Abstract: EAP-AKA ( Authentication and Key Agreement) protocol is one of the authentication protocols for 3 G-WLAN. Through the study on EAP-AKA protocol, we found that it needs an AV (Authentication Vector) to generate encryption key file for each authentication, which uses up lots of time in communication and certification. To solve this problem,we propose to add an AM ( Account Manager) for the AV array. In this way we decrease the usage of AV, cut down the communication cost, and improve the speed and QoS of the network.
